Hierarchy Gen. 1-3

In the beginning of the Bible we are informed that God created all things.  In being the creator he had authority over all that he had created, including man.  God made Adam in his own image but still not giving him the same authority as God.
God saw that Adam was lonely so he set out to find a suitable helper for him.  When none was found, God decided to make one.  He took out one of Adam’s ribs and created a helper for the man. This helper was a woman who would later be named, Eve.
At this time God had not established the law concerning man being the head of the household.  It is not until after the two had sinned that this took effect.
Among the punishments that God gave Adam and Eve for sinning are the levels of hierarchy.
Adam would no longer be so close to God for he was no longer without sin.  God is without sin and cannot be close to something that is sinful.
Eve would be ruled over by her husband and her desire would be for him.  Eve’s relationship to God was also changed.  As I said earlier, God is without sin and cannot be close to something that is sinful.
God put enmity between the serpent and the woman.  God also cursed him above all of the animals.  God also says that the serpent and humans would have much conflict.
